Whether your horse needs sutures following a run-in with a sharp object or you are concerned that a ‘lump’ may be cancerous, Epona can help. Using a combination of sedation and local anesthetic (as required) we can perform minor surgeries in the field or in their hospital facilities at Van Isle Veterinary Hospital.
Surgery services include (but are not limited to):
- Castrations
- Treatment of abscess
- Laceration repairs

- Cryotherapy (freezing sarcoids)
- Sub-palpebral lavage placement (eye)
