A pre-purchase examination by a veterinarian from Epona Equine Veterinary Services is one way to perform your ‘due diligence’ and to help you make an informed decision.

Our Standard Pre-Purchase Exam

  • A full physical exam

  • A brief ophthalmic exam

  • Comprehensive Lameness exam with hoof tester application

  • Full limb and back palpations, as well as flexion tests

We are also able to perform a reproductive exam, oral exam, x-rays, ultrasound and/or blood tests when requested.
