Accidents happen…

…and when they do, Epona Equine Veterinary Services Ltd. is on call 24/7 to assist our active regular clients.

In an urgent situation, please PHONE us and leave a VOICEMAIL at (250) 218-6610

We are equipped to manage a wide range of urgent care needs including (but not limited to):

  • Colic

  • Choke

  • Lacerations and punctures

  • Wounds

  • Eye injuries

  • Severe lameness

  • Illness

  • Foaling complications.

In an urgent situation, please PHONE us and leave a VOICEMAIL.

Do not text, email or Facebook message as we DO NOT monitor those after hours.

If you reach our voicemail, please leave a message and we call you back as soon as possible. If you do not hear back within 10 minutes, please keep trying as we may temporarily be in an area without cell phone service or caring for another urgent situation. If we are not available for urgent care the voicemail will have the number of another veterinarian to call that we have arranged urgent care coverage with.

Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. |  Closed Stat Holidays and Weekends

If you are in one of the service areas that we frequent less regularly, we have a partnership in place with a local equestrian facility (Good Match Farms) to accommodate our patients requiring urgent veterinary care. 

Please ensure you have an urgent care preparedness plan in place to access a trailer to haul down to us.
